The Day Care Program is accepting applications for a creative, organized, detail oriented worker with strong communication skills to work as a Program Coordinator.  The position will be full-time non-exempt.

The Program Coordinator will supervise an after-school site located at one of the Oak Park elementary schools for part of the day.  This includes directly supervising 4-6 Youth Development Specialists and 40-60 school age children.  The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for program planning and preparation, staff development, quality improvement, as well as supervision and mentoring of site supervisors.

Requirements include knowledge of and experience with school-age day care, previous supervisory experience.  General office experience and Microsoft Office Suite skills.  Valid IL driver’s license, good driving record and access to a car.
